Zhejiang Seeton Building Materials Co., Ltd. is a professional asphalt shingle manufacturer established in 2002. An entrepreneurial vision coupled with lofty ambitions and hard work set the pace for the growth of the company. Being the pioneer meanwhile the top one in asphalt shingle manufacturers in China, Seeton owns the only one state-level laboratory in China and takes part in domestic asphalt shingle industry standard's setting up (GB/T 20474-2006, GB/T 20474-2015). Meanwhile, Seeton has had certificate ISO 9001, SGS, CE, Class A Fire Test and so on. At Seeton, patents like self-adhesive double strips, double-sided wind-resistance bonding colorful sand matching held by us maximize performance of modified bitumen and built-up roofing.

Adherence to world-class quality standards and a customer centric approach has helped Seeton harvest distributors all over China.

Company History

Zhejiang SEETON Building Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 2002, and cooperated with many famous real estate company in China.

◆ In 2006, we learned the international technology became the first domestic brand of asphalt shingles to launch camouflage series. And we cooperated with well-known glass fiber tire manufacturers in the United States, then participated in the drafting of the national standard for glass fiber asphalt shingles.

◆ In 2007, newly built 15,000 square meters workshop

◆ In 2008, the introduction of foreign advanced technology, transformation of the domestic most modern 20 million production line, the annual output can reach 2 million square meters. Participated in the renovation project in Zhejiang Province, with an amount of more than 200,000 square meters. And we cooperate with the famous French colored sand company. In addition, in this year our products are sold to the United States, the Netherlands, Russia and other countries.

◆ In 2009, it became one of the few domestic production-oriented enterprises with more than one million square meters, and was generally recognized by the market. What's more, we have participated in provincial-level renovation projects for five consecutive years. And expanded the factory to 100,000 square meters due to demand.

◆ In 2011, we developed the only fully automatic double-layer compound machine in China and obtained related patents. In addition, we have also developed the most advanced environmental protection isolation technology in China.

◆ In 2012, we developed 4 double-layer tile glue conforming technology and the first domestic safe automatic sand screening machine, as well as domestic advanced construction guidance line technology.

◆ In 2013, we completed the company system reform, and successfully installed the 12-level wind tunnel test machine and the asphalt shingle fire test bench.

◆ In 2014, the domestic market sales increased by 32.7%, and it was rated as a star-level enterprise of quality and integrity in the waterproof industry in Shanghai.

◆ In 2015, we successfully expanded the international market, and the products were exported to the United States, Europe, Australia and other regions. Participated again in the formulation of the national standard for fiberglass asphalt shingles.

◆ In 2016, we expanded our production base, new factories are also being established, and sales in China and abroad are constantly expanding. We are committed to building our own brand, attaching importance to quality and reputation building.

◆ In 2017, Zhejiang Seeton obtained the first industrial product production license issued by Zhejiang Province after the simplified examination and approval reform for production licenses.

◆ In 2018, the company was officially awarded the GB/T19001—2016/ISO9001—2015 quality management system accreditation certificate. And we were invited to participate in the 4th International Prefabricated Building Frontier Technology and Application Summit Forum

The Unique Advantage of Seeton

Unique product line

SEETON has the state-of-art machine designed to improve the efficiency of sticking two layers. And we have the technology of double strips and cutting-edge technology of environment isolation.

Unique granules

Between two types of granule (dyeing granule and sintered granule), SEETON takes sintered granule as its raw material, which lays a foundation for better quality asphalt shingle.

Unique sanding system

We choose Triangular coarse sand which achieves better roof effect than normal sand.

Unique asphalt

The raw material of high-quality modified asphalt makes SEETON asphalts shingle more stable and solve the problems like flowing in high temperature and crack in low temperature.

Unique felt

The fiberglass melt we use, which is the same as Owens Corning, can prolong the life span of asphalt shingle and make it more stable.

Unique strip

SEETON adopts segmented rubber strip instead of a connected one, which not only lower the cost of asphalt shingle but also reduce the damage of intruded water.

Raw Materials

Fiberglass melt(95g/m²,calss A)

The quality of fiberglass melt determines the lifetime, crack resistance, waterproof performance and nails’ durability of shingles. Due to the good flexibility, SEETON's asphalt shingle can get flat again quickly after roll it up. Besides, the longitudinal and transverse tension of them reaches the ASTM D 3462.

Sintered Granules

SEETON sintering granule is imported from France company GROUPE CARLAC, the global strategies partner. It is made by 800 degree high temperature calcinations 8 times, then go through the Acidic and alkaline environment. The color of the tile is pretty steady.

Asphalt

SEETON asphalt use high purity and mixed at a proper ratio to guarantee the promise of 20 year warranty of 3-tab shingles and 30 year warranty of laminated shingles.

Adhesive

With a strong heat resistance, SEETON asphalt adhesive tape won't flow in high temperature.
